Thanks to everyone who came and saw us at CES over the past few days. The event was a huge success and we’ve seen some great feedback from publications such as CNBC, CNet and the Guardian to name a few.
A quick congratulations goes out to Dan Simmons from the BBC, who, after an hour of testing, managed to leave me a little red-faced after he broke the XP3 2.0 on the side of our fish tank.
Unfortunately as with all technology, there are always anomalies. And this particular one happened to be on camera!
At Sonim Technologies, we pride ourselves on making the toughest mobile phones on the market and we stand by that 100%. Because we have so much faith in our phones, we are the only mobile company in the world to offer an unconditional three year guarantee, just in case such an event occurs.
So keep putting our phones to the test and if one breaks for any reason, let us know so we can learn and make the phone tougher still – and the recent BBC breakage will be at the top of the R&D pile!
Well done Bob with the way you handled that interview with Dan (The destroyer)Simmons. Your composure and true belief in your products and business acumen was fantastic. Lets face it that phone took a hell of a lot of battering (and some more probably before Dan went mad with it) just for the screen only to break. Bet you could still take calls on it though!! Love your products and still by far the toughest phones ever I'm sure.

Yes - all kudos to you Bob. This post is an excellent response to the clip. Good on your for being frank and fronting up about the phone’s failure with a healthy sense of humour. Great too to see you reinforce your unconditional guarantee. Your speedy response is a reputation-winner in my book and will win you many fans, I’m sure. FYI my husband, who’s a builder, has one of these handsets and loves it.

You did a great job, had a great sense of humor about it, and it is still impressive to have a phone that won't break unless you smash the screen repeatedly on a sharp corner as hard as you can. If you're doing that, you probably shouldn't be trusted with a phone.

I think sonim technologies is doing great job and by telling the truth i think they have got the courage to face it. By giving their customers opinions so much value and this first step towards their success.

In my opinion you people will reach highest level and will achieve success if you keep valuing your customers and their complaints about your phones. The three year guarantee is the good decision taken by you people.

The motivation to succeed comes from the burning desire to achieve a purpose. Napoleon Hill wrote, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.”
